Title: Business Systems Analyst – Contract-to-Hire (Remote, NYC-based)

Contract Details:

Location: Fully Remote (NYC - occasional travel)
Type: Contract-to-Hire (Full time after 6 months)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our client’s team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will focus on managing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV) solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong functional and technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively with business and technical teams to drive value through ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the ongoing transition from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into scalable ERP solutions.
  • Serve as lead analyst for key workstreams:
    • Procure to Pay
    • Plan to Make
    • Engineer to Release
    • Quality
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and optimization of Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet business requirements.
  • Partner with technical teams to design and implement integrations with third-party systems and applications.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and support for issue resolution.
  • Support ERP-related projects to ensure on-time, successful delivery.
  • Monitor system performance, upgrades, and industry best practices to propose ongoing improvements.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend opportunities for workflow and process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV implementation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Manufacturing modules.
  • Deep understanding of standard accounting, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with ISV add-ons for BC/NAV and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with extensions, AL programming, APIs, and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
