Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen in Miami, FL is looking for 2 bussers to join our 60+ person strong team. We are located on 316 Nw 24th St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain table etiquette and assist with front-of-house upkeep.
• Water and care for both indoor and outdoor plants.
• Clean and polish glasses, windows, and mirrors.
• Sweep, mop, and ensure floors are spotless.
• Clean restrooms, indoors/outdoors as needed
• Load and offload the restaurant's delivery truck.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining surfaces.
• Buss tables efficiently, ensuring a swift turnover.
• Maintain a tidy and professional appearance.
• Work independently with motivation and self-drive.
• Work well with others and communicate effectively in English.
• Clear tables of dishes, cups, utensils and drinkware after each customer
• Reset tables filling napkins and condiments when needed
• Refill water/drink as necessary
• Maintain a clean and sanitary bussing station
• Ensure the restaurant remains clean and up to par at all times .

Requirements / Essential Functions:

• Prepares dining room for patrons
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
• Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean
• Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or special needs
• Support wait staff by setting -up and replenishing condiment stands, trash container liners and bus stations

· Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, and removing trash and recyclables from the facility.

· Effectively communicate with server and host or hostess to expedite efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.

· Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities and attend all scheduled meetings.

· Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest requests to servers

· Carry food, dishes, trays or silverware from kitchen or supply areas to serving counters

• · Fill in for fellow employees when needed

Customer Service Skills : 

Ability to provide excellent service and interact professionally 

with guests.

• Table Etiquette: Knowledge of proper table settings and maintenance.
• Housekeeping:  Attention to detail in cleaning and upkeep.
• Punctuality: Must be punctual and reliable.
• Responsibility: Responsible and committed to duties.
• Physical Fitness:  Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies.
• Motivation: A proactive and self-driven attitude.
• Teamwork: Works well with others and supports the team.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and listen to team members and guests
• Dedication to working as a team towards one goal
• Great customer service skills
• 1 year, min experience required.

Physical Demands

· Must be able to walk and or stand for an extended period and push or lift 30 pounds or more.

Education :

· High School Diploma or Equivalent
