olia Restaurant is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions and ensuring a positive dining experience. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries about the menu or payment options.
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately using the restaurant’s POS system.
• Ensure accurate pricing and provide receipts to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and surrounding area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary.
• Assist with light inventory tasks, such as restocking condiments or takeout supplies, as needed.
• Balance daily sales and complete shift-end reconciliation reports.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier or customer service experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
