Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Centralia, WA

Job Summary:

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing routine daily nursing care and services to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with our nursing team to implement care plans and provide compassionate support.

Essential Duties:

• Provide direct resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning of residents.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other relevant resident information.
• Report any changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor or charge nurse.
• Maintain a clean and organized resident environment.
• Ensure resident safety and comfort at all times.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and requests.
• Assist with meal service and ensure residents receive proper nutrition and hydration.
• Document all care provided accurately and timely.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and in-service training as required.
• Assist with restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
• Observe and report skin conditions and potential pressure areas.
• Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
• Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification in accordance with state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to lift and move residents as needed.
• CPR certification preferred.
