We are currently seeking a Clinical Manager who is responsible for coordinating and managing the clinical team and activities of the clinical program.

Clinical Manager Requirements:
- Graduate of NLN accredited school of nursing
- A Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of NJ
- BSN or higher preferred
Clinical Manager Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health care setting
- Home Health Care experience preferred
- Knowledge of HomeCare HomeBase or PointCare preferred
Clinical Manager Responsibilities:
- Manages the daily clinical schedule utilizing efficient organizational and planning skills.
- Provides both management and clinical leadership to the staff.
- Provides clinical assistance to the staff with emergency backup services and situation assessments. Clarifies technical procedures and uses sound judgement and resourcefulness in decision-making.
- Maintains agency stability on a daily basis. Shows ability to handle crisis and stress in a constructive manner. Keeps Director informed of all personnel scheduling problems.
- Assigns case management activities to staff.
- Communicates effectively with staff, other professionals, families and the public and is able to convey patience, tact and a positive attitude when dealing with others. Functions as an effective patient and family advocate. Is able to convey and receive comprehensive on-call reports.
- Reviews database information for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Adheres to all written policies.
- Case conferences with staff related to case assignments.
- Assists with the orientation of new personnel.
- Participates in overall departmental cost effectiveness.
- Assumes responsibility for own professional growth. Is able to set objectives and goals.
- Monitors and maintains patient care supplies.
- Participates in administrative on-call as scheduled.
- Participates in educational workshops and courses.
- Participates in the orientation of all nursing services personnel and allied health employees.
- Assist the Director in overseeing monitoring of all nursing documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
- Active participation in the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Program.
- Perform patient visit as needed to maintain quality care.
- Meets with nursing staff weekly and develop joint planning for on-going program development and improvement as well as a minimum of monthly ins service meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned.
