Job Description

International AMLAW 100 firm seeks a talented, experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join its Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience with Chapter 11 and bankruptcy litigation experience on either the debtor or creditor side. Candidates must have graduated from a top 20 law school with excellent grades and possess previous experience in Big Law or a national trial firm. In this role, you will be a buffer between two Partners who recently joined the firm and the junior Associates within the Bankruptcy group. Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
• Draft and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other necessary documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on bankruptcy laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement effective strategies for bankruptcy proceedings.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy court hearings and proceedings.
• Negotiate with creditors and other parties involved in bankruptcy cases.
• Advise clients on bankruptcy alternatives and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on bankruptcy cases.
• Stay current on developments in bankruptcy law and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in California.
• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience practicing bankruptcy law.
• Experience with Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
• Strong knowledge of bankruptcy laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Salary:

$235,000 - $310,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications
