Job Responsibilities 

Location: Bethesda, MD

Skills and abilities of a Dental Receptionist include:

• Greet patients with a warm and elcoming demeanor, providing a positive first impression of our practice

• Schedule appointments, manage the appointment calendar, and maintain accurate patient records

• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing helpful and accurate information

• Verify insurance coverage, collect patient information, and process payments

• Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow

• Handle patient concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner

• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment

• Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and inventory management

• Dental Billing experience

• Dental Insurance Coordinator experience and submitting insurance claims

• Type of patient schedule and prepare charts for next day
  

Job Requirements

• Must have dental experience

• Excellent verbal skills

• Experience with billing
  

• Experience with Dentrix Ascend

• Strong computer skills

• Ability to handle more than one thing at a time

• Dental computer software experience
