Job Description

An industrial manufacturer is currently seeking an EHS Manager to oversee their facility in the Dallas, TX area. The incumbent will be responsible with helping to create, implement and maintain EHS programs. The successful candidate will be expected serve as a communication link between management and employees by keeping all personnel informed of EHS related matters.

The Role:

• Develop, manage, and implement appropriate health and safety procedures in accordance with federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
• Lead continual improvement of the EHS culture, manage OSHA training, and ensure compliance with various environmental permits.
• Prepare and coordinate all environmental permits, reports and related requirements for facility - Air, Waste, Water etc.
• Complete audits and ongoing site visits to identify and address environmental regulatory, permit, and compliance issues.
• Oversee facility audits and incident investigations.
• Serve as expert and primary contact in respect to environmental, health and safety matters.

The Candidate:

• 6+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment
• B.S. degree in EHS related field
• Experience with ISO 45001 required
• Experience with ISO 14001 preferred
• Familiar with Environmental regulations, including Stormwater and Air Permitting
• Professional certification (ASP, CSP, etc.) preferred
