Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will work directly with customers, provide accurate cost estimates and manage small projects that have been awarded. This position requires a deep understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and labor costs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to gather information needed to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with our in house team and contractors to gather necessary data for bids and proposals.
• Evaluate material, labor, and equipment requirements for proposed projects.
• Research and analyze historical cost data to accurately predict project costs.
• Prepare and present cost estimates, budgets, and proposals to senior management and clients.
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction market trends, materials, and subcontractor capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator or cost planner in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
