Location:  Baton Rouge, La  (Based In Baton Rouge Area)

Job Type:  Full Time

Compensation: $45,000 - $52,000

Reports to:  Director of Marketing

Job Description  

Off The Hook is seeking a  Field Marketing Coordinator  to lead the development and execution of restaurant-level marketing plans that align with our brand vision and mission. This role is responsible for driving strong brand awareness, increasing guest traffic across the day, and building impactful community relationships. The Field Marketing Coordinator will evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies, recommend improvements, and collaborate closely with internal teams and the Director of Marketing to shape impactful programs and processes. 

As the Field Marketing Coordinator, You Will:  

  • Strengthen OTH local market presence and ensure brand positioning aligns with our core values 
  • Acts as the market expert, staying informed about market demographics, traffic drivers, competition, and other market dynamics that impact sales 
  • Spending majority of time in the market and the restaurants, connecting with the community, building relationships with community partners, promoting Off The Hook, and supporting restaurants in the designated area. 
  • Leads on- and off-site market-level activities that support the brand and local community 
  • Oversee the planning and execution of active community involvement, including outreach to the local community and managing sponsorship or community requests 
  • Upholds Off The Hook brand standards and marketing principles in restaurant and market level 
  • Support restaurant marketing through training, tools, and collaboration with operations; assist with rollouts of openings, menu launches, and promotions 
  • Assist restaurant managers with local marketing strategies including signage, promotional materials, local partnerships, and initiatives to increase traffic
  • Conduct research on restaurant trade areas to develop localized plans and establish strong community relationships.
  • Coordinate, execute, and attend community events including Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings, and other promotional activations
  • Regularly analyze sales trends adjust restaurant-level marketing tactics to support revenue 
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports detailing the impact of marketing activities 
  • Supports activations and activities planned at the support office level as needed 
  • Provides feedback to the RSO on campaigns, programs, and tools 

Minimum Requirements:  

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in marketing or event planning
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or similar marketing roll
  • Willingness to travel to Off The Hook markets as needed with some overnight stay (75-80%) 
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must 
  • Passionate, curious, and values-driven, with a strong alignment to Off The Hook’s mission 
  • Creative problem-solver with an ability to develop innovative marketing solutions or plans 
  • Flexible weekend availability 
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Reliable personal transportation 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
