Front Desk Attendant

Shift: Second shift

Columbia Club, a private city club established in 1889, on Monument Circle, offers an opportunity for those seeking to join our dedicated team. With 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and event facilities, en-suite guest rooms, and multiple dining rooms, Columbia Club provides a unique and distinguished experience. Complemented by member services and a Health & Wellness Center, the Club embodies excellence in every aspect of city club life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs all front-desk responsibilities between 4p.m. to 12a.m.
• Performs switchboard responsibilities between 4p.m. to 12a.m.
• Prepares various daily activity reports for previous day including:
• Logs and reconciles all charges from previous day.
• Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Guest Services Manager.
• Handling In House List
• Arrival/Departure List
• Handling Department Packets
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods
• Basic math skills and cash-handling experience

Work Experience:

• High School diploma or general equivalence diploma (G.E.D.)
• Hospitality experience preferred

Competencies:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Well spoken

Overtime and Job Requirements:

• Must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule
• Must be available to work some weekends and holidays
• Overtime is required on an as-needed basis
