Job Description:

Quantum Leap is seeking an experienced Security Manager to provide advanced physical, personnel, and industrial security support. The ideal candidate will have experience managing security operations for multiple cleared facilities and CAGE codes, including compliance, inspections, investigations, and safeguarding protocols. The Security Manager will develop, implement, and maintain Quantum Leap’s security policies, trainings, and ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, 5105.21 (M-1), DoDM 5205.07 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide security guidance and support to employees in compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, 5105.21 (M-1), DoDM 5205.07 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community.
  • Coordinate and manage personnel security clearance requirements in accordance with SEAD 3
  • Manage and ensure compliance of secure facilities in support of classified government contracts
  • Initiate, manage and process security clearances, access requests, and visit requests using systems such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS), eAPP (electronic SF86), NBIS (National Background Investigative Services), National Industrial Security System (NISS), and other security forms and security management databases
  • Establish and maintain successful working relationships with government and internal customers.
  • Conduct annual SCIF/SAPF self-inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Review contracts and DD254s for Security requirements
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of company initiatives and general security procedures and requirements, including annual training requirements such as Counterintelligence and Insider Threat

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) years of related experience as a Facility Security Officer, Security Manager, or similar role
  • Active TS/SCI Security clearance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Executive Orders, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), with a working knowledge of the ICD 705 Tech Specs, and TEMPEST.
  • Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule, SEAD 3, Adjudicative Guidelines, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs)
  • Advanced organization skills to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and deadlines
  • The ability to effectively work independently
  • Must be willing to work full time in our Leesburg office
