Role Overview:
As a Freelance Graphic Designer for Marketing and Social Media, you will collaborate with the Creative Director to bring client brands to life through innovative design. You'll work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for producing high-quality, on-brand marketing and social media collateral. You do not need to know coding—this role is focused on graphic design and marketing materials.
Please note that this is a freelance position with the potential to transition to a full-time role in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with specific brands to understand their voice and create marketing and social media materials.
Design brand-specific presentations and decks.
Develop marketing assets tailored to each brand's identity.
Create dynamic social media posts, including motion graphics, for various platforms.
Design brochures and other marketing materials for client presentations.
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm design concepts and build mood boards.
Assist team members with various design projects as needed.
Maintain and organize digital brand assets on the server.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively with senior team members and incorporate feedback into designs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency across all projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio that showcases your work.
Experience creating content for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Proficiency in Figma.
Experience working on a Mac platform.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Apple Keynote.
A keen eye for design and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing priorities.
A passion for improving design standards and an openness to feedback.
Compensation: Hourly rate is open to discussion.
