Overview:

The Human Resources Assistant a ssists the Director of Human Resources and the Assistant Director of Human Resources in the administration of the human resources functions. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for but not limited to all administrative functions in the department as well as practicing the safekeeping of personal information and the administrative tasks within the department.

 

  • Assist with the administration and the enrollment of new hires in payroll system including some payroll functions such as pay rate changes, benefits deductions, vacations, sick time, and unpaid time
  • Organizing, copying, filing, maintaining, and auditing all department records ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality
  • Reviewing forms for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in inputting and managing background checks
  • Assist in managing medical, dental, and life benefits
  • Assist in preparing materials, agendas, & schedules for training classes
  • Liaising with Payroll to ensure timely delivery of payroll records
  • Cooperate and coordinate teamwork with other departments
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Human Resources Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources
Qualifications:
  • Maintains confidentiality of employee information and proprietary data pertinent to hotel at all times
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Human Resources Administration or equivalent role
  • Positive and upbeat professional demeanor
  • Thoroughly enjoys administrative work
