- As an open source (OS) intelligence analyst the employee will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Gather, analyze, and correlate information from a variety of sources such as clear web data sources, law enforcement databases, information reports, intelligence sources and geographic information systems.
- Use intelligence data to identify, anticipate and prevent various threats and risks to our customers.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive written reports, presentations, and customer briefings based on research, collection, and analysis of intelligence data.
- Validate identified collection with data from other sources
Essential Job Function And Responsibilities Tier 1 - Open Source Intelligence Analyst. This is an open position for an Open Source (OS) Cyber Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for the identification, collection and analysis of online intelligence, both in the open web as well as the deep/dark web.
The Candidate Should Be Able To - Understand open-source data in the context of physical security, cyber security, and intelligence
- Beyond searching the indexed web
- Experience using multiple open-source tools (free and/or paid)
- Conduct research with deep/dark web data
- Research, identify, and report based on a wide variety of client requirements
- Conduct longer-term research projects and short term quick-looks
- Support real-time monitoring and reporting during live events
Requirements - Possess strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Possess strong analytical skills (must be able to fuse information and tell a story)
- Be self-motivated, self-driven, and self-educating
- Function well in a fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to work on projects alone or as part of a team
