Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Job Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our Food Science Department with testing food products. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and advance your career in food science and quality assurance.
Responsibilities - Conduct laboratory tests on food products to ensure safety and quality.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Record and analyze data accurately, maintaining detailed logs of test results.
- Collaborate with the Food Science Department to develop and improve testing procedures.
- Support various quality lab and quality-based positions throughout the organization.
Essential Skills - Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of food science, chemistry, and biology.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Degree in the Sciences (Chemistry or Food Science preferred).
- 0-5 years of laboratory experience.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role is based in a well-equipped laboratory with opportunities for advancement and development within the Food Science Department.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
