Job Description

LabVIEW Test Engineer II

Peyton Resource Group is seeking a talented LabVIEW Test Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain LabVIEW applications for test and measurement purposes. Your focus will include integrating hardware components and creating user-friendly interfaces for data acquisition and analysis.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in LabVIEW programming, possess an active Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification (or higher), and exhibit a strong foundation in hardware integration and data analysis. If you do not hold an active CLD certification, you may still qualify by completing a practice CLD test and submitting the results prior to your interview.

We are looking for someone dynamic, curious, and collaborative—an individual who thrives on solving challenging problems and brings a well-rounded skill set in both software development and engineering.

This is a full-time, work-from-home position based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Candidates must be able to travel to customer facilities as needed. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Active CLD (Certified LabVIEW Developer) certification or higher OR completion of an online CLD practice exam with submitted results prior to the interview.
  • Proven experience in LabVIEW programming and application development.
  • Strong understanding of hardware integration and data acquisition principles.
  • Solid grasp of data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop LabVIEW applications for test and measurement, including data acquisition, analysis, and control.
  • Integrate hardware components seamlessly into LabVIEW applications.
  • Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for data visualization and interaction.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Test and debug LabVIEW code to ensure optimal reliability and performance.
  • Maintain and update existing LabVIEW applications as needed.
  • Document code and project specifications for future reference.
  • Support customers and drive to find new opportunities
