The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the loan process, from submission to close, while paying close attention to the compliance of current lending policies and regulations. • Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies while preparing the loan file
• Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial
• Obtain property documentation to process mortgage loan files, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records
• Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness
• Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system - from origination to close

Qualifications:

• Experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans required
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required
• Experience working as a Processor, Underwriter, and/or Client Care Specialist
• Previous Experience as a Processor in a broker model is preferred
• Previous experience navigating the UWM portal is preferred
• Previous experience managing a pipeline through Salesforce is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills - MUST be comfortable on the phone
