Marketing Assistant (Entry Level)
Full-Time | In-Office | Monroe, Rayville, Ruston
Jim Taylor Auto Group is looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing team. This role is made for someone who enjoys hands-on work, light design projects, content creation, and keeping a busy department organized. What You’ll Do
- Monitor customer chats throughout the day and help connect customers with the right dealership department
- Attend dealership events, sponsored events, press conferences, and community gatherings to take photos and assist as needed
- Collect and upload photos and short videos of dealership activity, new arrivals, team members, and inventory for marketing use
- Complete daily website checklist reviews and submit updates
- Run errands such as hanging signage, picking up printed materials, and transporting items between stores
- Assist with simple graphics and help gather social media content (photos, TikToks, short videos, etc.)
- Review inventory daily and write vehicle descriptions in vAuto
- Help gather information to update website pages and dealership history
- Keep internal documents and lists updated (vendor contacts, extensions, customer lists, etc.)
- Take incoming vendor calls and route messages to the marketing team
- Provide light technical support for the marketing department
- Assist in organizing and submitting monthly co-op documentation (after training)
- Help record and edit the weekly internal podcast, then distribute it to staff
- Support special projects throughout the year
