MRI Technologist
Location: Belmont, NC
Pay Rate: $50 - $55 Hourly
Department: Imaging
Schedule:

• Friday (Day Shift): 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Saturday & Sunday (Night Shifts): 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• On-Call: 2 times per month

• Perform MRI Scans: Conduct high-quality MRI imaging exams for accurate diagnosis.
• Patient Preparation: Ensure patients are properly positioned and comfortable while explaining the procedure.
• Operate MRI Equipment: Safely operate Siemens MRI machines, making necessary adjustments for optimal imaging.
• Monitor Patient Safety: Observe patients throughout the scan, especially those with contraindications (e.g., metal implants).
• Ensure Proper Documentation: Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient data, and images in compliance with hospital policies.
• Assist Physicians and Specialists: Collaborate with medical staff to obtain diagnostic images and communicate findings.
• Administer Contrast Agents: If required, administer MRI contrast agents while following safety protocols.
• Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of MRI equipment.
• On-Call Availability: Be available for emergency imaging needs as scheduled.
• Floating Between Facilities: Provide MRI services at nearby locations as needed.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an MRI Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical imaging setting.
• Certifications:
  • ARRT Certification: Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with MRI credential (R.T.(R)(MR)(ARRT)) .
  • BLS Certification (Preferred): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
