firstPRO 360 is seeking a Payroll Administrator with Union experience (construction industry preferred) for a permanent opportunity near the Battery.

After training -hybrid 3 days in/2 days remote

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Larger construction company/knowledge of job costing
• Union payroll
• Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Exposure to certified payroll reporting
• ADP

Responsibilities:

• Enter weekly time for employees through various methods including uploading of import files, spreadsheet upload and manual data entry.
• Balancing payroll files and audit reports.
• Identify and solve payroll issues in a timely manner.
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
• Coordinate efforts between payroll, human resources, and other departments to ensure proper workflow and maintenance of employee data.
• Ensure proper deductions for payroll tax, benefits, wage garnishments, and other miscellaneous items.
• Assist with the preparation of Certified Payrolls.
• Follow proper governance of payroll data, time and attendance, record keeping and internal controls. Assists internal and external auditors during audit process by providing documents, and other payroll-related reports upon request.

Qualifications:

• Union experience
• ADP (preferred)
• 2+ years in high volume, multi-state payroll environment
• Proficiency in Excel
• Exposure to certified payroll reporting
