Job Description

Must authorized to work in the United States, not able to provide sponsorship at this time.

  • 3+ years of safety experience in commercial or industrial construction
  • Must be able to work out of Columbus office and perform site visits around the area
  • OSHA 500 preferred, but not required

We’re looking for a Regional Safety Professional who is passionate about building a strong safety culture, eager to learn and grow, and driven to ensure our employees return home safely each day. This individual will partner with our operations teams to lead, influence, and maintain best-in-class safety practices across projects and facilities.

What We Ask of You:

  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to employees and project teams on safety practices and compliance.
  • Conduct site visits, audits, and inspections to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Partner with leadership and field teams to drive accountability and continuous safety improvement.
  • Lead investigations of incidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
  • Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture aligned with Danforth’s values.

Experience & Competencies:

  • 3+ years of safety experience in construction, mechanical contracting, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and training skills with the ability to influence and engage all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Must have the integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to represent Danforth in the most professional, positive manner.
