Job Title: Sr. Full Stack Lead Developer (Node, AWS)

About the Role: We are looking for a Tech Lead with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS to join our remote team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring developers, designing scalable solutions, and working with modern event-driven architectures in the cloud. Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Node.js (3-4+ years, recent experience required) Hands-on development experience.
• AWS (3+ years) Expertise in API Gateway, Lambda, AWS Batch, SNS, SQS, Aurora RDS, S3, EventBridge, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and CloudWatch.
• Database Experience Relational & non-relational databases such as Aurora RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Event-Driven Architecture Strong understanding of message queues and event streaming.
• Automated Testing / TDD Ability to implement and enforce test-driven development practices.
• CI/CD Automation Experience setting up and managing automated pipelines.
• Mentorship & Leadership Comfortable leading teams, reviewing code, and guiding design decisions.
• SQL Expertise Strong ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Communication & Collaboration Must be a proactive team player who thrives in a distributed team setting.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Docker Experience with containerized development/testing.
• Infrastructure as Code Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Additional AWS Services Glue, X-Ray, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Fargate, Step Functions.
• BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) Hands-on experience with tools like Cucumber.
• Big Data & ETL Experience with Glue, PySpark, or Hadoop.
• Industry Experience Prior work in insurance or healthcare domains.
• Leadership Experience (3+ years) Managing teams, code reviews, and technical mentorship
