Security Control Room Operator

Location: Hillsboro OR

Rate: $21.00/Hour

Available Schedules:

• Friday - Sunday 10pm-6am

• Tuesday - Saturday 10pm-6am

• Friday - Tuesday 6am-2pm

• Friday - Tuesday 10pm-6am

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Control Room Operator position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems and emergency dispatch incident reporting and analysis and remote alarm panel programming.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Valid drivers license and clear driving record required.
• Strong computer / technology skills needed.
• Emergency Response experience preferred.
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their guests.
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Customer service background preferred.

All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check!

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the clients premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
