Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant. This role will be responsible for supporting the monthly close process for a portfolio of properties, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of monthly close for assigned properties, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Review and analyze property-level financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with property management teams to ensure proper coding of transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of property accounting experience required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting principles
• Experience with property management/accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
