Perfect Game - Social Media Internship Program

Position Overview:

Perfect Game, the leader in elite youth baseball and softball scouting and events, is seeking passionate and creative interns to join our social media team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports media, content creation, and digital marketing. We are looking for individuals to fill the following roles: Social Media Coordinator, Social Media Videographer, Social Media Editor and Graphic Designer for Spring and Summer internships.

Internship Roles & Responsibilities:

Social Media Coordinators:

Assist in managing and scheduling content across Perfect Game’s social media platforms.

Monitor social media activity and engage with followers, teams, and players.

Develop and execute content strategies to increase engagement and followers.

Track performance metrics and provide insights on audience trends.

Work with the marketing team to align content with brand messaging.

Social Media Videographer:

Capture high-quality video content at Perfect Game events, tournaments, and showcases.

Edit and produce engaging short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms.

Assist in live-streaming games, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content.

Collaborate with the social media team to develop creative video concepts.

Ensure quick turnaround times for event highlight videos.

Social Media Editors:

Edit and enhance video content for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.

Create engaging highlight reels, player features, and promotional videos.

Work closely with videographers to refine and optimize raw footage.

Implement creative graphics, overlays, and effects to enhance engagement.

Stay up to date with social media trends and editing styles.

Graphic Designers:

Design visually compelling graphics for social media, website, and promotional materials.

Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to create engaging visual content.

Develop templates and branding elements to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.

Assist in the creation of event-related graphics, player spotlights, and sponsor materials.

Stay updated on design trends and apply them to Perfect Game’s digital presence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, media, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Passion for sports, particularly baseball and softball.
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Strong video editing skills (for Videographer & Editor roles) using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Strong graphic design skills (for Graphic Designer role) using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel to events as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in sports media, social media management, content creation, or graphic design.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and engagement strategies.
