Job Description

Salary: 129,300 - 223,600 USD per year Requirements:

• I have 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• I possess 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• I have experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Preferred: I hold a Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Preferred: I have 4+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Preferred: I am familiar with AWS technologies such as EC2, EBS, and S3.

Responsibilities:

• As part of the EC2 Provisioning team, I will be developing next-generation services to support the development of new EC2 instance types and maintain the elasticity that our customers depend on every day. I will work closely with EC2 Principal Engineers and other technical leaders to refine technical direction, ensuring that the infrastructure can manage live devices without downtime to adapt to changing capacity needs. My role involves the full lifecycle of software development, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, monitoring, alarming, and reporting.
