📍 Tax Accountant – In-Person (Brooklyn Office)

Location: 722 56th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11220

Type: Full-Time | Pay: $55,000–$90,000/year

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Setting: In-person

🧾 What You’ll Do

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Manage bookkeeping and financial records for SME clients
• Handle payroll and sales tax filings
• Support clients with audits or tax notices
• Provide proactive advice and tax planning strategies
• Stay updated on tax laws and ensure client compliance

✅ What You Bring

• Strong understanding of tax prep, bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax (especially for small businesses)
• Attention to detail and pride in accurate work
• Great communication — you're comfortable explaining tax stuff in plain English
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Drake, etc.)
• Bonus if you’ve worked in a small firm before!
