Job Description

NCG Associates is a reputable healthcare staffing agency specializing in providing top-quality nursing professionals to healthcare facilities. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for a local assignment. As an LPN at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in delivering patient care and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the registered nurse or physician
  • Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and self-care techniques
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an LPN
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
  • Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is require

Benefits

Assignment location: Scarborough, ME

Length of assignment: 14 weeks

Pay rate: $1,296 - $1,368

Guarantee hours: 36 hrs

Work schedule: 05:45pm- 06:15am

Pay with OT: Would be discussed during the interview

Taxable rate : Would be discussed during the interview

Sign-on Bonus: (one time) Would be discussed during the interview

Housing stipend: Would be discussed during the interview

License Required: ME License/Compact
