Role Specifics and Benefits:
As a Sterile Processing Tech on assignment, you will:
- Decontaminate, clean, assemble, inspect, package, label, and sterilize surgical instruments and devices to ensure they meet exacting standards.
- Prepare instrument trays and carts, track instrument counts, verify sterility indicators, and document processing steps in compliance with AAMI, OSHA, CDC, and facility policies.
- Assist with inventory management, instrument repair coordination, and sterilization process validation to support OR readiness and patient safety.
- Participate in operating room turnover, prepare for emergent cases, and help maintain sterile fields and instrument integrity across shifts.
