Job Description
We are seeking a Warehouse and Scheduling Associate & Maintenance team member who will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and scheduling jobs.
From organizing inventory to preparing orders and maintaining equipment, your attention to detail and proactive approach will be instrumental.
The offered salary ranges from $45,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on experience, in addition to other benefits such as company-matched 401(k), PTO as needed, and company-paid health insurance.

Responsibilities:
Unloading of trucks
• Receive all inventory, materials, and equipment, inspect for damage (not BOL if any damage is present), and correct material and amounts
• Physically mark all materials for Job Name using tags and/or markers
• Keep all job materials together, such as ceramic tile, grout, caulk, etc.
• Organize material in the warehouse according to material type
Prepare Material for jobs by 3 pm • Cut carpet, prepare a hard surface for pick up the next day
• Cut any underlayment, pad, plastic, etc., for the job as needed
• Track what materials are leaving the warehouse
• Notify the scheduler immediately if any material has not been received
Inventory Control • Receive material in the system when it comes in
• Mark material out of the system to jobs as it goes out
• Do a physical count semi-annually or as needed
• Notify the purchaser of materials that need to be ordered at least 1 week in advance
• Roll all remnants, w/ tubes, tag rolls with their length, assigning roll numbers
• Provide samples of stocking products
Property Maintenance • Keep the warehouse, back office, and dumpster area free and clear of debris
• Mow and trim the grass as needed
• Keep the warehouse clean, swept regularly and mopped as needed
• Change filters in HVAC, and lightbulbs as needed
• Shovel snow and lay down salt on the front porch and back door as needed
Scheduling: • Check for material that came in and jobs marked ready for scheduling. Contact the customer to coordinate the install date
• Be the liaison and be responsible for the relationship between the company and the installer
• Manage the workload of installers to keep them busy, and ensure that jobs are being completed
• Call customers to discuss jobs
• Troubleshoot issues to create creative solutions
Showroom Support: • Answer phone calls and answer customer questions about measurements, jobs, and payments
• Schedule measurements for customers
• Assist customers in the showroom with the selection process
• Document all interactions
• Document all selections
Work Schedule: Work every other Saturday
Delivery of Material - When needed for acclimation on a job site or for "cash and carry" customers.
Qualifications:
• Experience in construction or a related field/trade
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and vehicles
• Forklift certification desired
• Desire to seek out the most efficient and effective way to solve problems and complete tasks
• High-quality standards and confidence
• Strong communication skills and willingness to call project superintendents to discuss concerns
• Self-starters with strong organizational and time management skills are essential
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
