Representative, Customer Service

Location: Portage, MI (Hybrid)

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Contract/Full-Time: 12 months

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-focused Customer Service Representative to support Capital Sales business . In this role, you will act as the front-line liaison between our customers, sales representatives, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional order management and customer satisfaction from entry to fulfillment
• Support sales teams with requests including: order entry, converting, date matching, sample orders, weld warranty replacements, and more
• Respond promptly to inquiries from sales reps and provide solutions aligned with company policies
• Collaborate with internal teams like Scheduling, AR, Marketing, and Service Parts to ensure smooth operations
• Enter orders with 100% accuracy via phone, email, or fax using standardized processes
• Run reports, assist with special projects, and support administrative tasks for capital sales
• Act as a backup to the broader Customer Support team when needed
• Document all transactions according to regulatory and internal recordkeeping standards
• Prioritize and adapt to shifting tasks while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, sales support, or order management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/Salesforce systems
• Proven ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed
• A collaborative, team-first mindset
