Trillium Construction is hiring for several High Voltage Commissioning & Testing Technicians to travel the country commissioning new solar substations.
This is a direct hire, full-time position paying $45 - $60/hr, plus per diem!
Duties:
-Transformer & Breaker Power Factor Testing
-Breaker Timing Testing
-Transformer External Device Protection Testing
-VLF Withstand and Tan Delta Testing
-CT Ratio and Burden testing
-CVT Testing
-Battery Capacity Load Bank Testing
Qualifications:
-Must have an understanding of NETA ATS and MTS requirements as well as the supporting IEEE, ASTM, & IEC standards.
-Previous NETA level 3 or 4 certification a plus
-Must have or complete OSHA 30 for construction within 30 days of employment
-Must have or complete NFPA 70 E training for 2024 edition within 30 days of employment
-Substation Maintenance/Testing/Operating certifications a plus
-Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
