Job Description

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute in Temple, Texas. General neurosurgery and sub-specialization in either cerebrovascular or spine skills are desirable. Position Highlights:

• Serve as a mentor for residents, fellows and medical students in the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute. 
• The department has active clinical and translational research programs as well as numerous on-going clinical trials.

Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor Scott & White Health (Central) has a fully accredited seven-year neurosurgery residency program and is the only academic Neurosurgery Department in Central Texas with ten full-time faculty members in a major teaching hospital, a level-I Trauma Center and Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The candidate will be eligible for faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine with academic rank commensurate with training and experience.  About Temple, Texas Temple and the surrounding areas have a population of approximately 450,000. Located in the heart of Texas, Temple is only a short drive north of Austin, TX.
