The role:

We are hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to support our mission to radically improve access to high-quality brain health and dementia care! Our prescribers partner with therapists and collaborating psychiatrists to support clients during their brain health journey. 

This position is a 1099 independent contract role.

Who you are:

• You are PMHNP licensed and in good standing in New York (required); active license in multiple states is preferred especially FL, NC and SC
• Board certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Minimum of a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent
• Comfortable establishing DSM-5 diagnoses
• Comfortable prescribing for DSM-5 diagnoses
• Maintain a strong evidence-based clinical skill set while practicing and implementing outcome-focused care
• Empathetic, active, and intuitive listening
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Knowledgeable in crisis response
• Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment
• Able to provide your own personal computer/laptop that meets security and telehealth standards (SOC2).
• Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various systems & tools with ease (this includes, but is not limited to Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, proprietary EMR, etc.); able to provide your own personal computer/laptop that meets security and telehealth standards
• Passionate about our mission of improving access to high-quality brain health and dementia care
• An entrepreneurial spirit or previous experience within a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred 

How your skills and passion will come to life at Isaac Health:

• Hold thoughtful and engaged sessions with clients; 30-minute initial sessions and 15-minute follow-up sessions 
• Provide 20-40 hours of weekly availability
• Create your own flexible schedule based on your individual availability! The scheduled time must fall within the hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM US Eastern time
• You will work collaboratively with other brain health care partners at Isaac Health to ensure the most beneficial level of treatment for our clients
• Work alongside other like-minded clinicians that have a common goal to positively impact the lives of others, and create an environment that leads to favorable outcomes for clients
