A great opportunity to step into a supervisory role as a Shipping and Receiving Manager near Winchester, TN, where you can lead efficient logistics operations and drive process improvements.

• Anticipate $70K (+/-)

• Shift: Choice of 6 AM - 3 PM or 7 AM - 4 PM

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the shipping and receiving processes, including receiving, verifying, and transacting incoming goods, and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Oversee a team of two direct reports: a shipping and receiving clerk and a laborer/forklift operator.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and commodities, to ensure smooth workflow.
• Drive process improvements and cost savings through KPI tracking and analysis, focusing on dock-to-stock time, on-time delivery percentages, and freight spend.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility setting to understand process flow.
• 4-7+ years of experience working with an ERP system (D365 preferred, but not required).
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Experience with KPIs (dock-to-stock time, on-time delivery, freight spend).
• Ability to manage invoices.
• Openness to backup work for pick pack supervisor.

Ideal Level of Experience:

• Early career professional with the right work ethic is ideal.
• Preferred but not required; 3+ years of experience in a relevant role (supervisor or manager)
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is desired.
• Experience with ERP systems and KPIs is essential.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a team.
